Privacy (trackers)
The Privacy page shows who AdBolish stopped from following you: analytics services that record what you do on sites, telemetry that apps and devices send home, and the tracking pixels social networks put on other sites (the Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight and so on).
It works like Ad networks: Trackers stopped lists each network with its Category (Analytics, Telemetry or Social), Blocks, Domains and Share of blocks. Click one to see its domains below, and Allow a domain to add it to your exclusions.
Turning tracker blocking on and off
The Tracker blocking card at the top of the page has the Device & app telemetry switch: Usage reporting built into Windows, Office, phones, smart TVs and TikTok. May affect some vendor features. It's off by default; turn it on to block that telemetry too. Analytics and social tracking pixels are blocked along with ads, by Ads & trackers on the Ad networks page.
What usually goes wrong
- The page is nearly empty. Most trackers are caught by the same list as ads; ones AdBolish doesn't recognise by name are counted on Ad networks. Realtime shows every block as it happens.
